His Will Ranch was born from the life, love, and courage of my son, Byron — a boy who faced Juvenile Huntington’s Disease with a strength far beyond his years. When his legs could no longer carry him, his horse became his legs… his freedom… his joy.

As third generation horseman, we always knew they brought comfort, joy and healing. But it wasn’t until Byron’s began to decline that we truly understood the depth of healing a horse can bring. Roxy, his mare, carried him down the alley, through pain, and straight into pure happiness — at moments when he would have otherwise been home in a wheelchair. There were others, too — Foxy and Pearl — each part of his journey in their own way. Their stories will be told in time. But it was Byron and Roxy’s bond that revealed something undeniable: a horse doesn’t just help a person through hardship… a horse can heal the parts of a soul that hurt the most. From that sacred connection — and after my son’s passing — came the calling to stop thinking about and just DO IT! To build a place where others could experience that same grace, strength, and hope. His Will Ranch exists because I witnessed, with my own eyes, what love, movement, and a gentle horse can do for a weary or broken heart. This ranch is Byron’s legacy — shaped by his courage, refined by grief, and carried forward with purpose.

At His Will Ranch, we offer equine-assisted experiences that restore hearts, calm minds, and uplift spirits. Healing doesn’t always begin with words — sometimes it begins with the steady breath of a horse beside you, the rhythm of hooves grounding your body, or the quiet understanding in a horse’s eyes. We believe in the power of connection; that simply standing with a horse can bring peace, confidence, and comfort in ways nothing else can.

While we work toward a full hippotherapy program, our current sessions focus on safe, gentle, one-on-one connection with a horse in a nurturing environment. Children with special needs, caregivers walking through heavy seasons, adults navigating trauma or loss, and veterans seeking grounding — all find space here. Every story that enters our gates is honored. Every person is welcomed exactly as they are.

His Will Ranch exists because healing should never feel out of reach. And it exists because I believe, with everything in me, that God uses horses to speak healing, courage, and hope into our lives in ways nothing else can.
